Who we are

FastEXIF is made by The Bunker Desenvolvimento e Tecnologia LTDA, a Brazilian company. For anything about this policy, write to support@fastexif.app.

What the app does with your files

Everything happens on your machine. The app opens the file, reads its metadata (EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS and the cinema fields) and shows it on screen.

• Your files and their contents are never sent to us or to anyone else.
• There is no upload, no cloud and no sync.
• The GPS location shown on screen is the one already written into the file — it is read, not collected.

What the site records

We measure the site’s traffic with Umami, running on our own servers. No cookies, no third-party trackers, no ads. What gets recorded:

• The page viewed and where the visit came from.
• Country and city, derived from the IP at the moment of the visit. The IP is not stored.
• The browser type.

Clicks on "Download" are counted in aggregate: day, version, language and source channel (sanitised utm_source). No personal identifier.

What the app sends

Only one thing, and nothing that identifies you: on launch, the app asks our server whether there is a new version (via Sparkle).

• The app version travels in that request, in the User-Agent Sparkle builds.
• We count those launches in aggregate, by day and version, with no machine identifier and no account.

There is no sign-up, no login and no key to activate — FastEXIF is free and asks for none of it.

Your rights

Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD) guarantees you access, correction and deletion of your data. Since the app keeps no personal data about you, in practice this comes down to what the site measures — just ask at support@fastexif.app.

Where the data lives

The aggregate numbers from the site and from launches live on our own servers, rented from a hosting provider. There is no payment or email processor: FastEXIF is free and sends no email.
